Inventor of the Freedom Leg
“I’ve used the Freedom Leg for over 10 years on all kinds of injuries – Achilles ruptures, ankle fractures, after foot surgery. I’ve seen a reduction in disuse atrophy, and there’s a reduced risk of blood clots because you’re firing the muscles in the surgical leg.”
– Dr. Larry Maurer, DPM
“I wore this thing everywhere, even to the gym to maintain upper body workouts with zero knee strain. I don’t know what I would have done without it!”
– Rachel Atkinson
“I am 4 weeks non-weight bearing following Achilles surgery last week. I use the Freedom Leg to get up and down stairs at home and use it for walks of up to a mile each day.”
– Jeff Higgins

The most common way patients obtain the brace is by purchasing the brace directly from us through freedomleg.com or by calling +1 888-816-8127. Once the brace has shipped, we will email you a copy of the invoice that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. This is the quickest and easiest way to receive a brace covered by insurance.
You can alternatively have a medical device supplier near you order the brace for you, and they can handle the insurance billing directly — they will just need the size of the brace and your insurance information. Have them give us a call at +1 888-816-8127 to place the order.
