Slight challenge with hard cast

Have had it for about 3 weeks now and have been highly impressed. Positioning it while wearing a hard leg cast was a bit tricky at first , but I figured it out it good to go. I believe it will be more comfortable once I get out of the hard cast and into a soft boot. Can’t wait!!!

This is a life saver

I used this about a yr or so ago. Then recently, I had to use it again after foot surgery. I was non weight bearing for a few weeks.
This allows me to walk until I'm able to walk normally.
Roger is a godsend and I'm grateful for superior customer support, as well as a sturdy, reliable product.
Thank you very much for your help, I appreciate it!!!!

Freedom

I bought this leg brace after using the eye walk three which worked pretty good but it tires you out and this brace allows me to walk semi normal with better balance. This is the best thing ever if you have to have a no weight bearing restrictions like I have for eight weeks. I’m very active and being sidelined was never something that I could do and the Freedom Leg has allowed me to continue for the most part with few restrictions. This should be a standard offering after surgery even my orthopedic doctor was impressed and they had never heard about it.

Great customer service!

This is not actually what I bought. They didn't have a choice for ordering replacement straps. I called and he sent the part I needed super fast! I have used my freedom leg through two surgeries. My very rough fiberglas casts started wearing one of the lower straps. I got the straps in 4 days over a holiday weekend. Fantastic service!

Arrives fast and replacement is quick and easy!

Customer service quality

Wow these guys will call you and take care of any issues you have, give you all the options and you don’t have to ask. Premium experience.
I have not received the freedom brace yet this is a customer service quality not product quality review.
I will write that after I get the brace.
Seriously good folks to deal with.

Just got it today

Just received my Freedom Leg 3.0 today and have been testing it around the house. Great product all around, as advertised! Hands-free crutches that allows me to do small tasks and even errands around the house. The natural bent leg 'sitting position' allows me to rest my leg unlike regular crutches that forces me to keep lifting it up in a floating position which gets tiring.

Freedom Leg is a Lifesaver!

After taking the time to properly fit and practice wearing the Freedom Leg, I was off to the races! This device is a lifesafer, especially for the independent, active person. I can finally contribute to and participate in most daily tasks and light activities - on all types of terrain - and without pain. Thank you!

Worth the money

Definitely takes a little time to get used to but once you do, it’s great. As an owner of a diner, there is no such thing as down time. This crutch had me back at work 8 days after breaking my ankle.

Great product

Unfortunately I broke my foot two weeks prior to shattering my knee. I wasn’t able to get and out of the car while wearing the brace.

Absolute Life Saver

I had a MACI transplant and Tibial Tubercule Osteotomy on August 8th, 2024 and on August 21st I started college. The estimated time on crutches was 8 to 10 weeks and I ended up being on crutches for over 12 weeks. By the second week of college, trying to get from class to class was killing me on crutches, that is when I found freedom leg. I decided to take the chance, and I'm glad I did. It came within the week, and I was using it within days. I still used one crutches, just because it made me feel the most sturdy, but the leg itself made my next 6 or so weeks much more enjoyable. I could keep it on all day with no problems and I was also able to carry things and be somewhat self sufficient. I 100% recommend getting the freedom leg as it was an absolute life safer!!!

Life Saver

After having rotator cuff surgery and bicep repair, and then needing a meniscus root repair, crutches were literally killing me. The Freedom Leg brace, gave me relief of the pain caused by the crutches and allow me to move about taking care of myself and able to help with tasks of everyday household chores. It was the best and only decision I could make to survive this last surgery. Strangely, my physical therapist said no, but my orthopedic surgeon said yes, that it did meet the non-weightbearing requirement.

After recovering I highly recommend. An update to my previous review.

I wrote a previous review that was only a qualified endorsement. After fully recovering from my Achilles tendon break I want to update my assessment.

I am very grateful to have had the Freedom Leg. It essentially allowed me to live without great difficulty. It DID take a bit of effort to master, but was WAY better than the alternative. I eventually was able to walk on uneven ground at a decent pace, without cane. in short, it gave me my life back. I invite you to read my previous post, which I am impressed that the Freedom Leg people did not suppress. It documents how there was an initial difficulty but it was well worth the effort to master the "Leg". I recommended it to my orthopedic clinic.

Game changer!!

Quick and concise review. The freedom leg was a bit difficult to fit properly. Once I figured it out the first couple days were difficult then it clicked and now moving around is so much better. I can go up and down stairs. Carry my 5 year old boy.(which is the primary reason I wanted to try this) thank you to who ever designed this product. You would see my tears if I could post a video. The freedom leg is worth it, give it a couple days and you won't regret it!

Hands Free!

Love the ability to get around with free use of both hands. Able to prepare and serve meals that would be an impossibility with crutches. Able to use the stairs without hopping and trying to carry crutches. One issue I struggle with is trying to get my braced leg short enough that my hips are level with the foot clear of the floor. I’ve tried different length adjustments, but feel I need a shoe with added lift to properly level the hips.

Game changer!

After 2 days on a scooter my knee was raw & bleeding. This arrived & provided relief & I could walk with 0 weight on my lower leg & ankle! Took a few minutes to figure out the right adjustments & learning to move around but then it was off to the races!! “Freedom” leg truly gives you freedom & independence you would not have otherwise! BRILLIANT device!!!! I’m

I was able to walk which was nice

The gentleman who called me back when I left a message, was exceedingly helpful and I am grateful.
Like any other new device, I had to get used to it. But, I appreciate that I was able to walk...that was awesome.
It was on sale too, which was great. I have crutches, the knee scooter, and a wheelchair...and I really wanted something different.
Freedom Leg to the rescue!!!!!
Thank you guys!

Great idea

I have Charcot's foot from neuropathy and supposed to be 0 weight bearing on my foot. I almost killed myself with crutches, could only hop a short distance with a walker, and the knee roller is useless unless you have someone doing everything for you. I like the concept of the Freedom Leg but I ordered too long of a brace and had to send it back. I'm awaiting the short brace and look forward to mobility success.

Great product

Roger at Freedom Leg Brace tried so hard to help me fit the brace. It is extremely well made. The instructions are clear. Roger even took the time to create a different thigh cup for me, but sadly I am just too short to make it work for me. My daughter who is 5’6”, put it on, and was able to walk off. So, I know it works. I have nothing but recommendations for someone facing ankle surgery to try it and see if it will work. It will set you free.

New best friend

I had an hour with a physical therapist to learn walking on the brace prior to my surgery. It is amazingly easy to get used too. I will be pretty confident on it and I’m 63, my balance isn’t the best but I am so glad I bought this to give me freedom in a few weeks after surgery

Good company to work with

Hi,

I purchased the Freedom Leg, and the quality of the brace is to notch.
It didn't work out for me, and I returned it. No hassle at all,
so don't be afraid to try it!

Freedom to walk after foot surgery

Love the Freedom Leg brace it allows me to be much more mobile and be able to go up and down stairs much safer after my foot surgery with no weight bearing on my foot, excellent product my surgeon an therapist were so impressed with it I think they will be referring it to their new patients.
