So, 2 weeks ago, I fell off my shop roof of 12ft and shattered my right foot. I'm looking at a surgery and 4-6 months recovery. So, I'm not one to sit down as I work a ton on my farm, taking care of animals, running my company all by myself and was looking at a way to still work and walk. Found this and I was hesitant but decided to order. Just got it today and was so excited to put it on. I told the UPS guy that he's delivering my new leg to me! Already a huge game changer! I immediately went outside and started walking around. I have to use 1 crutch still for balance but no strain on my arm at all. It's more of a walking stick. And then I did practice walking around without the crutch as well but that will take some time to learn to balance properly but I can already do so much more than I've been able to do the past 2 weeks. It's not difficult to put on at all. you do have to adjust it to you though which took me about 5-6 times to get it to fit comfortably. But hands down, this is a game changer for sure.
It takes a little practice to get use to it but once you have it down, it's good. I finally got my confirmation that I broke my foot. I'm using my Freedom leg mainly for work, so I can actually go to work. Even though it hurts at the end of the day, now it hurts a lot less when I get home. This is a great idea.
It just didn’t fit the bottom of my leg properly. It seems like a good product. With me having ankle surgery I just needed more stability for it to work for me
